Can't move menu to front

Post by IzzyAvraham » Fri Dec 01, 2017 4:21 am

Hi, I need help solving a mystery. How do I make the menu open in front of the video? The menu is embedded as a layered page and I already tried moving it to the front of the page on the master, and then also on this page in which it's embedded, and tried moving everything else to the back. Nothing seems to be working. Thanks for your help!

This may help you (not tested)
Go to properties of 'Layer1' and make overflow as none.

Did you try to uncheck 'Embeds Master Objects as a layer'?

Here you have more things not good, first you can not write meta tags in descrption with " " this charters,
second what present html3 files in your projects, and why is youtube video in that html3. also you have html2 what is that?
anyway, first solve meta tag description and go step by step remove irrelevant files. also postion video is at front, you must send to back

You will have to use entities for quotes in meta tags, otherwise the HTML becomes invalid.

Code: Select all

"Quotes"
second what present html3 files in your projects, and why is youtube video in that html3. also you have html2 what is that?
I'm sorry can you please be more specific?

Thanks for the suggestion, I checked and it's already set to "none".

Yes, this is unchecked. If I check it then I can move the master layer to the front and the menu stays on top of the video, but the video controls can't be accessed and the link under the video can't be clicked through.

Html 1 and 2 are in the master page and are Google analytics and Google+ snippets. I moved the object with the menu to the front so the video's position isn't front. And I don't think the mega tags description would affect layer positions, would it?

No, meta tags will not affect the layer positions.

It looks like you have set the documented type to 'none'. This is not correct. The page must have a valid document type in the page properties.
Also it looks like the master page is still embedded as a layer.

I just changed the doc type to HTML5 and checked and "embed master objects as layer" is unchecked. The menu still opens behind the vid though. Could it be related to the HTML I'm using to embed the video?

<style>.embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }</style><div class='embed-container'><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RRXmKGV9e ... autoplay=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen ></iframe></div>

Yes, that may be possible.

Or the video player may just render the video on top of everything else.
