ssl certificates not trusted - warning from Google

Post by rogerl » Sun Nov 19, 2017 1:00 am

In the past week while I was testing some code on Chrome I got a warning message that my ssl certificate was no longer trusted and needed to be replaced before March next year. After doing some research I discovered Firefox has also joined with Google over this issue. Here is the link to my original source:
https://security.googleblog.com/2017/09 ... antec.html
My ssl provider states:
Starting at 1st December 2017 all certificates will be issued by DigiCert and would be trusted by Google with no limits.

We will reissue all your affected orders automatically, all you need is to inform your customers about domain re-validation and re-installation required.
Hope this helps others in same situation.
