Dynamically appear as thumbnails?!

Post by Joseph Lee » Mon Oct 31, 2016 11:11 pm

Hello,

I would like to have PDF's and DOC's moved in and out of a specific network folder, and have the contents dynamically appear as thumbnails in one area of a page.

Is this possible to do?

Thanks.

There is no standard option fore this. This requires programming.

To display file names without thumbnails you can take a look at this extension:

Hi Pablo,

I tried 'PHP File Listing-Version 1.1' default settings but I get a 404 - File or directory not found. I made sure that Everyone had all rights. This is an internal network.
Can you or someone please verify this extension still works?
Thank you.

The extension still works.
Make sure the path is correct.

Hi Pablo,

The internal URL to the webpage is: http://10.0.2.8/intranet/
The folder to list contents is at the root, URL: http://10.0.2.8/updocs

I have this path in PHP File Listing: http://10.0.2.8/updocs

Appreciate your help...i do realize this isn't officially supported. But your help in just getting it to work is much appreciated!

Joseph

You will need to enter a relative path.
Also I think the path should be a sub folder of the page.

I placed the folder 'updocs' as a sub folder of the page.

Current path on PHP File Listing: /updocs/

Still same 404 error

The error indicates that one or more files are missing. This is a configuration issue.

I'm sorry I cannot help you with configuration this extension. It does not include support.
