extensions for old versions of wysiwyg
hey I just reinstalled version 10.4.8 and tried to download some extensions for my projects without any luck.
are the extensions still available somewhere or do I have to upgrade to a newer edition.

Yes, but you will still need the required extension(s) used in the project made with WWB10. Note if the extensions are not available from the url given by Pablo or the Extension Manager then they may no longer be available.can I just import my version 10 files into version 14
Re: extensions for old versions of wysiwyg
hey, I can't open a wysiwyg project at all,
I opened a .wbs project file in a text editor to remove the links to the extensions however I couldn't find the extension names in the file.
if possible can you tell me how can i delete the links to the extensions in my .wbs files,
or how I can open my .wbs files in version 10.4 that contain links to extensions.

Re: extensions for old versions of wysiwyg
It is possible to find out what extensions you have used in the .wbs file/project. Please try the following, open the .wbs with Notepad++, search for "W B x" note the spaces. You should now be able to see what were used, take note of it/them. Close but do not save when asked.
Now you can download/install the missing extensions and open the .wbs again.

Re: extensions for old versions of wysiwyg
I opened a .wbs file with a single extension, then saved a copy, and started working on the copy not the original.
in the copy i found "W B x" and the full path of the extension,
then I deleted the path of the extension including the 'W B x' text then saved copy.wbs.
finally i tried opening copy.wbs, the error was 'failed to open document'.
is that the accepted means for deleting an extension from a .wbs file.

Re: extensions for old versions of wysiwyg
Note that you cannot edit the wbs file with another application. If you save it wil another too then the file will become corrupted.
You can only use it to view which extensions you have used.
After you have made notice of the extension(s) then you can reinstall them to load the project in WWB.
