Maximizing Searches to webpages WYSIWYG

Post by Hobbyist » Mon Apr 16, 2018 6:43 pm

I am new to this community and web design. I hope everyone is having a pleasant Monday.

I am building a website for personal and home business use. My question is how does HTML work with WYSIWYG? My goal is to maximize exposure of the items that are in the websites inventory. So my question is whether that is done in WYSIWYG or whether it is designated by the webhost. So if I am selling off my collections of hobby pieces do I name them in WYSIWYG so when someone searches the item my website appears? Does the webhost and plan affect this?

So if I have a Hirst Arts designed 28mm tower do I name it replacing "item" or in WYSIWYG? Or is it done through the webhost?

Do you mean that you want to implement search functionality on your website.
For basic search, you can use the built-in site search script. For more advanced functionality you may need a database driven solution.

Yes.

Ok so is there a tutorial on how to use it? Or is it self explanatory from the menu items?
For more advanced functionality you may need a database driven solution.
Is that from the webhost? How (and where) do I access those features? Do you have to pay for them to be implemented?

I would like it so a picture of my item comes up in google bing yahoo images. Possibly a link to my website as well.

This feature is documented in the help.

No, you will either have to write your own script or use a third party solution.

For example (these are just some random results in Google),

@Pablo. Thanks. Looks like I have a lot of research to do.
