Pagination *** UPDATED Mar-02-2012 ***

[rz] Pagination v1.1.0.0

This extension allows to paginate a set of static pages emulating a dynamic scheme.
You can link to a series of pages by clicking [previous page], [next page] or even the [page number].

http://www.mediafire.com/?yx5ih6bbwdqc6z7

HTML 4.01 Transitional
W3C compliant

How to use?

You must have all the pages to be linked/paginated with the same prefix, followed by a two digits number, i.e. mypage01, mypage02, mypage03, etc.
The sequence must be a consecutive serie of (two digits) numbers.
For an optimal design, put the extension in a masterpage and embed it in all these pages you need to link to.

If you need more than one extension instance in the same page, you must enter an unique ID (Properties / General -> ID)

In the site manager, i.e. you have all the designed pages as follows:

myproject
mypage-masterpage
mypage-01
mypage-02
mypage-03
mypage-04
mypage-05

In mypage-masterpage, you have the extension.
The page name prefix is "mypage-" (without the quotes).
Number of pages: 5.
File extension: html (you can use others page extensions as well).
You can customize your messages: "go previous" and "go next".
The other properties are explained by themselves.

Enjoy!

I have partially implemented the extension in my test site and it works fine. I also have used your "last modified" script.

hello bramsie!
thanks you for your real feedback.

wanted to share a tip for you.
you have:

vorige 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | volgende

a "|" is missing at the beginning

how to solve it?

in delimiters category, delete the content of the start property and of the end property as well
in separator category, enter " | " in the links separator property
you will have:

vorige 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 volgende

but if you want this alternative:

vorige | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | volgende

in texts category, for the previous property, enter: "vorige |" and for the next property, enter: "| volgende"

thanks again for your feedback!

RZ Hello, I took your advice and have the changes made. Looks much better (it is now complete) see my test site.
Thank you for your effort to make these extensions and to share with us.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline.

P. S. I have another question. Can I design and sell websites using your extensions?

@Bramsie
i updated the extension (v1.1.0.0), download it again and reinstall it.
was tweaked to gain more customization possibilities.
please note the new properties, if you use them wisely, you will get neat results.
let me know how it works for you now.
