Text Panel Slide Show (free)

[Adendum]

The Text Panel Slide Show extension is now available from the main extension site - here and also from my extension demo site. The help file is also available online from the same page.

This extension is based on Marco Kuiper's Css and jQuery code. Original demo and code here. This extension is a versatile slide show and can also be used as a secondary navigation system as there are options to have one link for each image.

PLEASE READ THE HELP FILE BEFORE REQUESTING SUPPORT.

And YES - all images used will need to be manually moved to your /images folder - so check that before posting here or emailing me from the support page

Don't take this the wrong way amrajadhyaksha but what do you do with all these extensions? You always comment positively (thanks) but you also almost always ask for one or more other extensions to be built. Are you just an extension Magpie, hoarding extensions in case the world ends on Friday?

Your posts here (and elsewhere on the web) show no examples of your work and no site references anywhere. Are you a developer? Why so shy? Let's see a few URLs of the sites you've done or at least your own site.

Be fair, you get a lot of free work from the extension builders here but we see nothing in return. How about it?

Hi,

I do use them, but I am not a developer.
These are mostly used in offline presentations where I find menus better than PPT.
Hopefully, by end Jan, I should also be putting up a site where I should like to showcase these.

23/12/11 : Added a padding property to the First Line text.

22/02/12 : All image content now published to the /tpss folder.

You may need to re-link any images if you open a project that uses an earlier version of this extension. Earlier versions of this extension required images to be manually moved to the /images folder. Now all images, css and .js files are all automatically published to the /tpss folder.
