A new and free horizontal accordion is available from the WWB extension site under the Miscellaneous section.

Demo available

Requires HTMLtext box extension

EDIT: Don't forget to post the URL where you use it as I'd like to see how creative you get!

Someone has posted outside of this thread requesting a PDF as they are having problems with the extension. Has anyone else had a problem not being able to located the PDF - or is it just a one off?

EDIT: No...it was a one-off! :)

There was a missing variable in the original extension that controlled the image tab height and the sliding content height. This has been corrected and a new version is available for download. (Also added the .uwxb version).

I have updated the demo by adding a 300px high tab with 500px wide sliding panel area.

PROBLEM: When I created the second demo I added an image to one of the panels and discovered that although this works perfectly on your local PC the code created retains your local folder details so when uploaded the img src remains pointing to your local hard disk! Until I can find a way around this I suggest that any images added to the panel are first uploaded to your server and you code the image src to point to the server side.

10/11/11 : Having only realised I could do this yesterday (doh!) I have modified this extension (and all my extensions - see list below) so that the live rendering of the extension in design view is greatly improved. In many cases the design view will take on a background colour you set in the extension properties.

Updates available from the WWB extensions site and my own demo site. Remember to check out the extensions listed below.

Anything Slider
Automated ToolTip
Directory Listing
Elastic Thumbnail Menu
Image Information Panels
Image Swap Menu
Kick-Butt-Mega-Menu
Orbit Slider
Photo Info
Slide Down Box Menu
Stacked Images
tab Slide Out

21/02/12 : The CSS styling is now an external file published to the folder /sha. All images are now published to the /sha/images folder.

You may need to re-link any images if you open a project that uses an earlier version of this extension. Earlier versions of this extension published the CSS within the page, it is now published as a separate file in a folder called /sha and all images have been moved to the /sha/images folder.

I have also updated the HELP file to clarify how to size the extension in WWB.

No...but if you can source one I can probably turn it in to an extension - subject to permissions.

Hi Paul,

How do I add content to this extension? I've looked through the PDF help and I still can't figure it out. I see that it uses the HTML Textbox, but how do I tie the two together?

Just click on the extension and then click on the property to enter the content.

Specifically:

Section 4 - Tabs
Add
Tab Image - select an image
Tab Header Text - Enter the text for the tab
Sliding Content (will open HTML Textbox - if installed!!) - enter content.
