Fusion Chart Free extension to display 9 different graph typ

Post by wim berden » Sat Feb 13, 2010 10:32 pm

Free FusionChart Graphs extension v1.0

This WB6 extension can be used to display a graph in 9 different styles. Just place a FusionChart object on a page, set the properties and publish your site.
This extension can be used without any restrictions. The PHP and JS code is free and supplied by FusionCharts. The extension itself was build by WBSoft Automatisering, The Netherlands using Extension Builder 2.0.2
http://www.fusioncharts.com/free/license/

See http://www.fusioncharts.com/Gallery/Default.asp

update release 1.1,
read PDF for instructions
download extension here:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/yxmji1mdy ... nchart.zip

let me know of any problems.
===================
An example of dynamic use of this extension can be seen on URL:
http://www.wbleatherworks.nl/stats.php
http://www.wbleatherworks.nl/stats.php?show=pages
http://www.wbleatherworks.nl/stats.php?show=newusers

The properties of the graph Title and Subtitle contain the names of variables, resp. $tit and $sub. These are filled by the code at the start of the page.

I used the TraceWatch code to maintain statictics of the site - http://www.tracewatch.com/

The stats.php page was edited in WB6, page HTML and in start of page tab, this code gets data from TraceWatch API and creates a data.csv file which contains the data for the graph:

Code: Select all

<?php
include_once "./twatch/api/GetStats.php";
$month=date('n');
$year=date('Y');
$display = TwatchCounter::SESSIONS;
$tit = 'Aantal sessies';
foreach($_GET as $key=>$val)
{
	if ($key == 'date')
	{
		$m=substr($val,0,2);
		$y=substr($val,2,4);
	}
	if ($key == 'show')
	{
		if ($val == 'users')
		{
			$display = TwatchCounter::VISITORS;
			$tit = 'Unieke bezoekers';
		}
		else if ($val == 'pages')
		{
			$display = TwatchCounter::PAGE_VIEWS;
			$tit = 'Aantal bekeken paginas';
		}
		else if ($val == 'sessions')
		{
			$display = TwatchCounter::SESSIONS;
			$tit = 'Aantal sessies';
		}
		else if ($val == 'newusers')
		{
			$display = TwatchCounter::NEW_VISITORS;
			$tit = 'Nieuwe bezoekers';
		}
	}
}
$tit .= ' per dag';
if ($m >=1 && $m <= 12)
	$month = $m;
if ($y >=1970 && $y <= 2099)
	$year = $y;

$file = fopen('./data.csv','w+');
if($file !== false)
{
	$curdate=mktime(0, 0, 0, $month, $month, $year);
	$nm=date('m',$curdate);
	$ny=date('y',$curdate);
	$days=date('t',$curdate);
	for($i=1; $i<=$days; $i++)
	{
		$period=sprintf('%02d%02d%02d',$ny,$nm,$i);
		$amount=twatchCounterResult( $display, TwatchPeriod::DAY, $period, 1 );
		$output=$i.';'.$amount.';;70';
		fprintf($file,$output."\n");
	}
	fclose($file);
}
$sub = date('F',$curdate)." ".date('Y',$curdate);
?>

Hm.... I read that the trail version is only to be used for evaluation purposes and NOT on a production website ?

"FusionCharts Trial is a no-restriction evaluation of the actual component i.e., there are no days and feature limitations in this trial. The only difference is that in the trial version charts, "FusionCharts" and "InfoSoft Global" imprints would be present on the charts. Once you purchase a license, these imprints would be automatically removed.

You can use the Evaluation version only for testing purposes. It cannot be deployed to any production website. Read our Privacy Policy

I don't see why you are getting angry. I read that text on the download page, and expressed my question (with an evident ? mark).

You could simply answer: "Yes, it is free"

The extension will certainly help a lot of webdevelopers, so I just wanted to make sure there was no issue with the source code...

Re: Fusion Chart Free extension to display 9 different graph

You should note that the original builder is no longer active in the forum, it has been almost three years since he last logged in, this means he wont be uploading the extension anytime soon. Note that this is not a file sharing forum, if someone wishes to reupload the file for downloading, then you will need to seek advice from them if the extension does not work. There is no support from the forum regading this extension as is is user made, and as the builder is no longer active he is unable to assit.

There is no other download url. Note that this thread is six years old and the extension developer is no longer active in the forum.

But the real question should be, any one have that extension? Or even more clearly, how can I create charts on my WYSIWYG webpage? Exists any extension for that?

Thanks,
