All your images are pretty much the same size (640x480),
so there is no resizing of images going on ... the fx is created on resize of an image
You can change the resize easing property and it's speed,
but it won't show any effect if there is no resize of image going on

Change the size of the images you input, and choose a fx by changing the resize easing + resize animation speed . :) .

hi 41i3n777,

No, not a (auto) slideshow feature, if that is what you mean ?
Click one image, yes, but then you use a next button to display the next image.

It is a great extension, thanks a lot :)

If I have a portrait image, can the thumbnail be cropped so it doesn't look weird when it is a thumbnail?

Thanks

hi supersonictt,

nope sorry, the extension builder gallery does not have an option to constrain ratio
as a (hmm... ) workaround you could try …
use a 2nd jor_sexylightbox instance and use "option image" instead for that specific image
(keep the group id the same as the id used in the gallery)

no other way I can think of … ?! . :? .

Hello Jordan,

Great great extension. Excellent job ! :D

I've just implemented it on my site and the result is over expectations (love the auto adjustment to the screen size).

Thanks again for your work!

Cheers,
:D

Hi Jordan

I notice the images appear on the workpage when using gallery, but I need the iframe feature.

Is there any way to get the trigger image to show on the WB workpage when usng "Image triggers iframe"? I just get the red X box with alt tag.

Hi Protectourlands,

It seems that in the iFrame configuration, you must make your own thumbs in order to see them on the workpage and also in the published page.

I'm not sure I know what you mean. I am using my own thumbnail. It appears fine when published. It just won't appear on the workpage, like it does in Gallery. I don't know what to do to get it to appear.

Have you discovered a method?

I recently set it up, iFrame and Gallery, and I was sure that in both modes we had a view of the images in the workspace.

Done it once again tonight and I don't succeed, like you...

hello protectourlands,

no, a.f.a.i.k live rendering of images does not work with dataset entries
that's just how the extension builder displays, nothing I can do about that . :| .

thanks protectourlands ...
as a workaround you could also just use single Image galleries, they will display (give each extension an unique extension id, same group id?)

Jordan

The image display works like a charm! You are awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

I have run into a small issue that I just cannot explain. The gallery is changing the url of the target page in the iframe. The same url that worked in the image to iframe no longer opens in the gallery to iframe. Here is a demo page: http://www.29chamber.org.previewdns.com/test.html

The url is supposed to be: http://myemail.constantcontact.com/News ... #article1?

but instead it is being changed to: http://myemail.constantcontact.com/News ... #article1?

It seems there is an issue with the ampersand. "&aid" instead of "&aid" I have re-entered the correct url 3 times and it keeps being changed.

Do you have any ideas for a workaround?

Hi Jordan

I hate to bother you again. I've run into a small issue however. The extension is adding a blank line to the very top of the page html (above the doctype). This is preventing contact form returns on php pages.

It looks like it is the setup portion of the extension. Any ideas?

Hi Jordan,

Strange thing is happenning there...

Was using your extension on a page for quite a while now but I just saw that the extension is not recognized anymore.
Try to reinstall it with no success.

I'm using the latest build of the software 8.5.5.

Looking at the message, it seems that the software is looking for the .uwbx version which is not in the jor_sexylightbox_update3b.rar file.

Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks!

hello Pascal-Gilles,

as far as I know, WB8.5+ does not need a separate .uwbx file, it is created on the fly if needed
I have no problem using jor_sexylightbox with WB8.5.5 here ?
did you try to reinstall through the extension manager ?
what happens if you use jor_sexylightbox in a new project ?

Hi Jordan,

Thanks for answering.

It's strange indeed.

Yes, I did an (unsuccesful) reintallation through the extension manager.

I can't use jor_sexylightbox in a new project because it...can't be installed  (It says 'Ok, Installed' but nooooot)

Pablo and you could have a solution because I'm completly blocked at this stage?

THANKS!

Re: jor_sexylightbox_update 3

hmm, in a new project there is no error report and it doesn't install at all ?
the only thing I can think of is the amount of extensions you have installed exceeds 200+
can you install other extensions ?
other then that I really don't know what could be the problem

I would remove (store) all extensions from the extensions folder
then install just jor_sexylightbox (and 1 other extension as a reference) and try it again within a new project
if that fails then I am blank too, although I may not have your configuration, if it works here, it should work there

jordan if at all possible can you recomplie the extension using the latest ext builder 4.0.1 and then reupload just to see if that helps

hi coyote333,

I don't know how you have setup jor_sexylightbox 4.0, but, yes, you can use external links with v4.0
I rewrote jor_sexylightbox in update 4 (much better:), so you might need to adapt to the new setup
have you looked at the jor_sexylightbox_easystart project examples in the download ?
