Nice one J. :)

A couple of thoughts:

1. Wouldn't it be better to have this locally?

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jq ... "></script>

2. Can you please make the cursor to be an option so user can change it depending on the style of the site? Keep the one you have as the default one.

1. QUE ? ... ex-quise me I have no idea what that means.
I know a bit of this, I know a tit of that, with the rest I just wing it.
Better ... why, where, please explain as to a novice . .

2. Would like to do that for you, but wouldn't know how to . .
How do you change the .js from within the extension builder ?

Oh brother, I regret the thought of trying to be a builder already . .
From now on I'll just keep to be an index-erian . .

@BaconFries ... tnx ! :D .

He means that the js file should be local inside the site instead of on the server at google.
Actually you should use the title tag also
and have default to "click image to close"
Other then that,great extension

I have some problems with mediafire.
All the files are off-line on the moment ... sorry.

Don't get it ... !
I try to delete the files then re-upload them.
But each time I delete the files it says files deleted.
Then I enter my files ... whoop there it is.
They are still there ??? ... physically they are anyway.
Can't get rid of them and can't add any new files ?
Well ... I will get it sorted in time I guess.

File upload sorted (for now) . .

I just copied the code without even noticing another .js.
jquery.min.js is now local.

@haako
tnx you for your info.

@bendigo
tnx you for noticing, and for your offer to change it for me.
But I think it is sorted now.

Very Nice extension...something like this was on sale I saw on this forum...good now its free for all! ;-)
By the way, is there a possibility that we could add links to the images?

jordan, thanks for your extensions..... :D
dynamic drive may have a problem with your extensions....these forum pages are indexed and you may need to read their website notice: http://dynamicdrive.com/notice.htm

I do not see a problem here. He has kept the code intact and all the extension does makes it easier for the user to actually use the code. None of the code has been modified. Otherwise it too much ado for nothing.

Remember: An extension is a wrapper for a code or a flash player, it does not modify it in any way or form, furthermore the extensions are NOT for sale or accessible to the public as such.

Otherwise we might as well kiss good bye this whole project and never use a code for the sake of some blinking red tape!!!!

I think this is the issue :

You are not allowed to "Put our DHTML scripts on another script library or webmaster type site for others to download."

It is NOT a library it is WRAPPER!!!!!! Major differences! Also it is not on this site it is on MF.

Eddy pointed this out to me already.

The point here for me is redistribution.
You can NOT put the code on another page and thereby
make it part of that particular site.
That would be like copying dynamicdrive.com and calling the credits.

The code is wrapped like bendigo said, and then offered as an aid.
The code and credits stay intact, and no redistribution is taking place.

This is discussed before as Eddy pointed out to me.
I do not like this to fall into the same discussion.
So many people so many opinions, leave it to that.

I made the call, and I will take the fall if so . .
If WB support wants these files removed for there own reasons,
I will remove them.
If not, then I have no problem leaving them as they are.

Great Job BF, However this has to be optional as not everyone might need to link it.

Hello, did anyone notice this, when using the "Expando" and if the image is placed on right of the page, the expanded image opens further right that is actually creating a horizontal scroll and expanded picture going out of window. Can we control the positioning of the expanded image in someway.
This is not happening when I use the "magnify" option...here the image opens in the centre...see demo : http://stjohn.dilzem.co.cc/

hello me.prosenjeet

It is not in the script to position the image with expando.
the description on the author site reads:
Expando is a simple script for folks who want to have an image expand onMouseover (to its actual size).
see here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde ... oimage.htm#

the only way I know how to simulate it in WB would be by using tables . :? .
which is messy ... copy/paste etc
and still probably won't even give the result you want . .
but maybe you can use it ... download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zgyoygnzln3

Thanks jordan,
I agree, it is messy....but the effect of expando is superb.

I geuss you mean with expando in magnipando ?

the image with expando expands to the right/downward,
so bring the image to the left or top, always' to front, of the image to it's right or below.
so it always' runs of, in sequence, in front of.

hope this make sense . .

basically use WB's Move To Front.

and you have control of the size, by adjusting the image you input.
expando expands to the original size of the image.
if you input a smaller image, it output's a smaller image.
