One small issue:

Does the thumbnail gallery have scrollbars?
I mean - if I load 24 images in a 65 x 55 px thumb size with 3 to a row, the gallery remains contained in the page.
However, if I load about 40 images, it overflows lengthwise.
Is there any way (or I don't see if there is) that I can set a gallery with just 9 or 12 thumbnails visible in an area of 200(w) x 170 (l) bound in with scrollbars that allow a viewer to scroll down and see whichever image he wants?

As Eddy is no longer anwsering any questions regarding his extensions due to work commitments outside of WB, I will try and give you a answer
Does the thumbnail gallery have scrollbars?
No there is no scroll bar or any setting to make so...

Although I have a copy of the extension, at the moment I do not have the time to do research to see if is possible to add a scroll bar sorry.....maybe when Eddy has more time to come back to forum he will add this if it is possible to do so...

OK, so I know the limitations as of now.
As regards possibilities, they may happen later.... nothing seems impossible in the virtual world.

Thanks for your time, BF.

@amrajadhyaksha Ok I have took a closer look at this for you after the last post and yes a scrollbar can be added...but personally it spoils the look of the gallery, it also needs the user to be able to re calculate the width of the images used in a row in the scroll for example lets say you select three images in a row, now each image is 65x65(px) so this would equate to a combined with of 195px correct?? wrong using this width would be incorrect in the scroll it would need to be set at least 234px in width for it to display correctly if a lower width is used it pushes the last image out of place in the row and gets placed down in the second row...AS you can see this could lead to a lot of question on why this is happening and how to fix this...So personally I think it is best to leave as it is....

Thanks, BF.
Personally, I do not think the scroll bars will look bad, if the images seem to make the page long, a viewer may just skip the page, whereas with a scroll bar he could go on; but that's what I think.
And I wholeheartedly agree with you on the confusion it could cause and the forum / support time it would waste.
So best leave it as is.
Thanks once again for going deep.

I cannot promise anything but will see if there is another way around this...I have a few other extensions of my own that I need to modify and fix before I can take more time on this, keep a eye out and I will try and see what maybe can be done....
