Beautiful extension!! I just used it to have 9 pictures (around 280 Kb each) displayed. Settings are: thumbnail height 168 and width 188, visible three. Page properties: document type XHTML.
When clicking the page it displays the thumbslider extremely slow, probably because it is already loading the nine fullsize pictures in the background. Is there a possibility to prevent this? A visitor to the page who decides not to look into the pictures further would then be able to do just that after viewing the thumbnails that displayed themselves quickly.

Yes,thats true the big image is also used for the thumb this is how the script works.( the same as lightbox and slimbox)
I recommend that u use smaller images 50 / 80 kb each (500/ 800 width)

If I change the ID from the css/html etc.. in the extension, than the files between the head tags are overwritten with the second extension on the same page, sorry I think there is no easy solution.

And if you use an iframe for the second slider the background does get dark with resizing the image but only in the iframe and if the image with resizing is to big you have another problem :(

poindeckster wrote:i love the slimbox thumbslider. great job. question: are items in the slideshow indexable? if i generate a site index for the purpose of a site search will items in the slimbox be found or shown in any way?
Iàm not sure, I think the slideshow cannot indexed but you can index the page from the slideshow and use keywords in that page for the sitesearch.
