I did make a INDEX with dates but withdrew the concept,
reallity is, it is not possible for me to keep a INDEX like that up to date.
which would make, such a list worth, little!
sorry! . .

Evening jordan think neo was asking can you add this reference to the thread only if the builder informs you that it has been tested and complies to (W3C) HTML 4.01 Transitional! or XHTML 1.0 Transitional or both I am working my way through each one of my extensions and doing this and will post in all my extensions the results you already do a great job with this thread so once again thanks for everything you do for it...

Nooo ... I made this list yesterday but with dates where doctype is listed now.
but then I realized no way I can pull that of .. and keep that list updated.
so I threw the whole idea in the bucket, then from YOUR idea I drew this.
so why not a minor update then I thought.

so it looks more flattered then it is.

Jordon,
Here is a new extension. I have also mailed you regarding the same.
PDs 404 PAGE NOT FOUND Extension using EB2.0.2+

Add it to the list please

Jordan, this is just a suggestion...when you add a new extension how about putting the word "NEW" in BOLD in front of it and maybe have it displayed in a different colour so that visitors may find it easily. I see you add that at the top of the list..still give this idea a second thought.
Example :
**NEW** 404 Page Not Found .............................. me.prosenjeet ...... EB 2.0.2 ............ =
Just a suggestion, thanks for your good work

Hello me.prosenjeet

I thought about doing that a while ago, but decided not too
It just would create a lot more work
I would have to follow all changes doing that
If someone would update an extension, I would consider that a new extension to
basically I would be adding dates (following each extension)

also the list itself would become more cluttered and more work doing so
adding ie *NEW* or something like that, would just be more work to compensate to create a straight line
and it already looks like spaghetti . .

so with that in mind I decided not to do so.

If you look at the index, it includes the official ones too.
And consider the fact when extentions are updated/added/removed (believe me, this happen frequently), poor Jordan will have a tough time updating the zip file every now and then. Moreover, not all users require all the extensions. When they need, they visit the index section, select the one and download it. I think it is better the way it is

Hi neo this has been asked for before and it would mean extra work (See url) for jordan who is already doing a great job keeping this going. If you notice when I post a update, I always give the date that I upload the latest version as others do, it be better if the builder added this before or after the heading of the extension but you cant always force/ask the builder to do this as each has there own way of working.

Jordon,

I just added "Simple Horizontal Accordion" to the extensions under the Miscellaneous section. Available from here

This extension provides a simple accordion that can be fully customised to add numerous sliding tabs (using images) and sliding content (using the HTMLtext box extension).

Working demo available here

Jordon,

I just added "Automated Tool Tip" to the extensions under the Miscellaneous section. Available from here.

This extension will prove useful for those pages (or entire web sites) where technical or complex words require a glossary or definition to assist the visitor in understanding the page or site content.

Working demo available here.

Hello Adendum,

very nice, first extension? congrats!
but I only 'list' extensions to which I can create a link to from this section (+official extensions)
so, if you want me to add it to this index then please create a topic in this section for your extension

Hi Jordan,

No the Tooltip extension was the second - see the post above. The simple Horizontal Accordion was my first (the day before!!).

So I need to create a post here or somewhere with a zip file link for each extension? I have posted in the "share an extension" forum but I used the same format as in here - pointing to the WWB extensions web site.

Why are there less extension on the WWB extensions site than appear in this thread anyway? Shouldn't they ALL be in the WWB extensions site? I'm confused.

Re: ***WB EXTENSION INDEX***

I know (ur 2nd extension) … I already added your Tooltip extension to this index
because you have made a reference in this section to your extension, wherever it is posted (download)
so … no Adendum, you do not have to create an extra zip … etc
just make a reference in this section with a link (reference/download) to your extension

two places indeed, this index and the official extension manager …
the official extension manager has been build recently (since end last year)
so before that this was the only indexed reference for extensions, hence it's longer
if extension builders want to make use (or not) of the official extension manager is up to there own choice
I do not want to make use of it, for my own personal reasons …
