A couple of calendar scripts

Post by randm » Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:28 pm

I've found these two calendar applications - both have free versions. don't know if either can be used in an extension.

Hi.

An extension I'd like to see is similar to the "pageflip" extension, but as follows:

What I want is - imagine, say, a deck of cards face-up on a table. As I point at the corner of the top card, it curls towards me and if I click then the top card is relocated to the bottom of the pack and the next card is now the top card.

I don't want to see the cards beneath (although a suggestion that they exist there would be cool).

I know I can use a relatively simple "stacking" image selector like "smartgallery" but I just love the "page-curl" effect that "pageflip" affords but don't want to have two images displayed at the same time.

:)

Guys,
Have a look at this free script from phpjabbers to watermark images while display.

http://www.phpjabbers.com/phpexample.php?eid=20
Can this be made into an extension?

Frankly, image display extensions are too many around on the WB forum. Lets work on something different now! :D

True, but they are giving it as a download the font that is:
I am going to use arial font which you can also download
So if we put that in the 'files for upload' in an extension, will it not work?

Well it depends on where they want you to place it. For example I could not use your Error 404 as it required to be placed in a specific place and I think as soon as you have to start to tinker with that, you might as well manually add the script to your page.

This extension will allow different image dimensions. In the extension, you just tell it where your images are stored and it basically does the rest....
Be sure to select the slideshow version if you choose to try out the extension...

Cheers, will dl and try it and let you now if it fits the bill.

Thanks again :)
