Hi Andrew, I am responsible for this extension and I too wanted a left to right version and I even emailed the original code developer but he simply said, it cannot be done. :(

Sure, it's a very great one, and as Eddy says in my last post, it can handle dynamically a whole folder. So visitors can upload themselves new images !
It will be a very great extension !

There are already a few extensions that use jquery to control them so yes extensions could be made from the url you gave but it needs a builder to make them or you could try making them for yourself...

jQuery Accordion Widget - Version 1.01
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/jquery_accordion.html
jQuery Dialog Widget - Version 1.0
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/jquery_dialog.html
Dialog Widget - Version 1.0
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/jquery_portlets.html
jQuery Portlets - Version 1.0

One-time popup for a webpage using jQuery
viewtopic.php?t=22176
Goemo Top Scroller Translated
viewtopic.php?t=21334

And some others that use it as well....
