Web Builder webshop

Post by paulm » Fri Mar 11, 2016 11:05 pm

I have downloaded the demo project and I have received the following pages:

Index
Products
Cart
Customer
Checkout
Thankyou
Error
Cancel.

I seem to be missing the admin page that allows users to upload to the site.

The admin page is not missing, there is not suppose to be an admin page in this demo.

Just downloaded version 3.2, looking interesting, thanks for sharing this. Have some questions:

1) Is there an option to have a dynamic product catalogue? I mean something that can be modified without changing the HTML page in the project?
2) Along with question 1, can I have product images for each line item?
3) Can I program this module and have the end-user upload catalogue items without the need for me to be involved?

Thanks again

1. No
2. No
3. No

This project was intended as an easy webshop for users that only have a few products (although one use of WWB has actually some 3000 items based on this).

To do what you are asking for, you would need a CMS like webshop, database driven and with the products (and related images) loaded in the database and pages automatically created.

OK, thanks - a few more questions:

1) Does it require MySQL or can it work with a CSV file?
2) Do you know of any CMS I can purchase for this?

Thanks for your feedback

Webshop Plus works with the product details directly inserted in the page, so not CSV.
Please have a look at the forms / shopping carts section of the forum, I think there is something CMS like you can purchase.
