Testing PHP on your home computer

Post by BaconFries »

Have been reading the forum and see that a lot of people ask about PHP
and get great help from support but I also read that you cannot run PHP on our home PC. I have been using wamp5 on my home PC for sometime now as I had to learn PHP what wamp does is install Apache, MySQL, PHP on Windows and allows you to run all your PHP codes for testing before you install on a external sever or host. It can be tricky to install but once you have it up and running it works great. It can be downloaded at the address..http://www.wampserver.com/en/. You may also need to download MySQL gui tools to get it working proper the tools can be found at the address http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html
I hope this helps anyone that want to test PHP before uping to there server.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a Great New Year when it comes to you all.
