I tried with the form wizard, published the page and viewed that. There is code at the top of the page (as you stated) and when I click 'submit' it says "internet exp. cannot display the web page". How do I change the page extension to .php? Once I do that, will it work?

Thank you so much for your help!

1. Go to Page
2. Click on Page Properties
3. Change the File Extension to PHP.

Made a new form and much to my amazement it works Thanks to Navaldesign and his help with the practice form.

So now I have a new question ho do I change the order that the form sends out the submission of the information.

For arguments sake my form says A B CD but when the info is submitted I get it in the order C D AB

Here is my form not very pretty but that can come latter.

I would like to receive the info in a specific order.

Right click the field that you want to come first, and from the right click menu select "Move to front".
Repar for all fields, in the order you wan them to appear.
Save, publish, and refresh your browser before testing.

Please note that this will also set the Tab between fields order.

What i was saying is that by doing as explained above you also set the tab order (passage from field to field, using the Tab buton of your keyboard) in the same order.

At the moment they are in a different order (the order you created the fields). By doing the above "trick" inm he order you want them, you are setting the z index(and consequently their order) to be the desired one.

I have now tried this by right clicking, by using the short cut and by setting the properties and have also set a tab order but all to no avail.
So just how do I get them in the order I need please try to explain in some way that I can get to the bottom of this.

Note for anybody with this problem.
I have rebuilt the page and placed them on the page in the order I need the form to work and that has worked fine.

ABVFP was originally built for BV, thus the name. However, since it is a script that is builder independent, it will work with any site builder, in this specific case with WB5. It also comes in a bundle with a set of WB5 pages (form, error page, thank you page) that will help you see and understand how you can create your own ones.

Is there a way to have the form save the data to a txt file on the server, rather than sending an email?
Thanks

Not a the moment, this will be a standard feature of the upcoming ABVFP.v3. Launch is scheduled in about 2 weeks.
