Adding hidden fields

Post by ruel.lago22 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 12:07 pm

Hello there,

I'm trying to make an order form that will submit the information's they entered inside the fields to an email address. The order form can only be accessed by logged in users. Now I want to add hidden fields inside the form that are linked to the "usersdb" database and include them to the information's that will be sent to an email address. Such as their Full name and Email address because I don't want to keep asking them to enter these information's everytime they will be making an order. Please let me know if I haven't explained it very well or you got confused. Thank you so much in advance to who-ever will help me with this :)

Will this work? https://prnt.sc/jugdj7 I have included the HTML code for Edit Profile so that it can connect to the database.

This will only work if you have put the database values in these variables when the page loads.

Hmmm... If I understand it right. Should I put the editboxes in the form?

No, you will need to write code to get the values from the database.

I'll try to figure that out. Thank you Pablo! But I have one question I forgot to ask. For Login Session Time Out. What value should I put there so that once they logged in, it will never expire and will not ask them to re-login after 600? Except if they cleared their cookies.

Session timeout specifies the timeout when the user will be logged out automatically if the session is idle.

I read some websites that putting "-1" on the value will set the Timeout to never expire. Will this work on WWB?

I do not think that will work, because this value not only sets a cookie, but also a PHP timeout.
