How do I fix a text problem in a edit box

Post by bubblegumweb » Thu May 03, 2018 9:06 pm

Hi all,
I am working on a website which has a contact form within it and what I can not figure out is why when testing the form and you go to enter information within the edit boxes that the text starts full to the left hand side. Is there a way that when someone uses the form and you click in the edit boxes that the text starts a few spaces in and not right up to the left hand side of the edit boxes?

Here's the site I am working on

You can use padding to add spacing inside the editbox.

In the Edit boxes I see no reference to PADDING. Where do I find this option please?

In the 'Arrange' menu or Context menu (right click)

Note that the default padding is 4, so you must have already changed it previously.
