Forms with IF Statements

Post by robertgroff83 » Tue May 01, 2018 10:08 pm

Gents,

I know the answer will most likely require me to use Javascript however is there an option in the software itself to present an IF & OR statement.

Example:

If I select "Product A" from the combo box, I want the email in the Editbox to display "admin@admin.com" but if I select "Product B" in the combo box it will show "cust@cust.com" in the editbox.

I see there is a conditions box which would seem like it could do that but I think I'm not understanding quite the capability it has.

Thoughts?

Maybe this is useful?

From the help:
It is also possible to use a combobox as the source for the destination email address:
1. Set the 'Email address' property of the form to $MAILTO$
2. Add a combobox and set the 'name' property to $MAILTO$
3. Add multiple items to the combobox where the name is a name or department and the value is the email address.
WWB will automatically rename the combobox to 'mailto' in the published page. The email addresses will not be visible or accessible for the user in the HTML code (only in PHP).
