PHP Extension

Post by dellas_capua » Fri Apr 13, 2018 3:55 am

Hello!
To attend a training in WYSIWYG Web Builder and the teacher oriented to change the extension of the page name from HTML to PHP,
because we used a contact form. On my machine I have the WAMP Server running and even then when I try to access the page in the
preview I get an error that the page does not exist! I ran a test with another PHP page accessing my "localhost" and it works fine.

My question is whether this extension exchange process is right and how to resolve the problem.

Thank you!

Did you publish all files?

Sorry, but only after I posted the message did I read that PHP pages do not work locally (in the preview), only when the site is published!
Sorry again for asking an issue already resolved!

Note: However, should not it work, since I have a PHP server running locally?

If you want to test PHP pages locally then you should publish the files to the (root) folder of the server.
