Form Email Address

Post by alex4orly » Tue Jan 02, 2018 2:42 am

It seems (I am using Outlook) that whatever I insert into the email address for the form
Appears as the "From" address
I would like this to show the "Webmaster" as the sender of the message as "From" and the person receiving it as "To"

Can I do that somehow?

Cheers

If you are asking if you can change "From" to "Webmaster" then I don't think it is possible. If your meaning you want to change the senders name then yes it is possible as it is a configuration of Outlook which you will need to change to show this. I will move this to Off Topic Section were someone may wish to assist.

What I mean is that - in the Form configuration section - the input field calle "Email Address", I expect this to be th erecipient who receives the contact form from a website visitor, correct?
Then, how does that person who the "Sender" ?

Maybe, becasue the form I created DOES NOT have a field for the visitor to put in their own email address?

Happy new year

If the form contains an 'email' input field then this address will be used as the 'Form' address.
If there is no 'email' field then the 'email' property of the form will be used as form address.
You can see this in the form's code.
