Hidden Fields in Add to Cart with Options

Post by Jerry » Thu Oct 12, 2017 2:01 pm

Hi all
After spending hours trying to create a form similar as what I use in Jot Form, I give up.. Thats beyond my capabilities..
So I am trying to use the Form Wizard with "Add to cart with Options" .

My question. is their any information available as to how to use the "Hidden Fields" regarding what does what for someone who has never done this before or is this just for professionals?
Thank you
Jerry

The hidden fields are standard PayPal variables:

PayPal Add to cart with options

Post by Jerry » Thu Oct 12, 2017 7:05 pm

Ok.. I know I am being a pain in the butt.. but I am really stuck on trying to make this work..
I am looking for someone who help me get this thing working.
I am a old carpenter.. not a webmaster by any means.

I have been told that all the information i need is on PayPals website but doesn't help much as I can't seem to get grip on how this all works!
I have create a "PayPal add to cart with options:
I have 3 "Comboboxes" and "two Editbox".
What I would like to see is when the form is filled in and goes to PayPal it would say what "Plan Package" was purchased along with the "Plan" number.
Also if they needed the plan "Reversed" and "What country" it would be shipped to.
I know I am asking alot but If anyone can help me that would be wonderful!!!!!!!
Even part it maybe I can figure the rest.
I have uploaded my form to here.. https://www.edesignsplans.ca/temp_today ... _Test.html

Thanks so much...

This will require some scripting such a javascript or jQuery to achieve.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to explain this. even for an advanced user this would take hours or days to implement this functionality.
I wish I could do it for you, but I spend all my free time improving the software, there is not enough time to help all individually users with creating their website.

@jerry as Pablo this is something that would take time. Unfortunately I am not at my PC as I am out celebrating a 🎂 but I am not promising anything but if my 52 yr old brain (today) remembers correctly I gave another member a solution to something similar ie select from a option and display it in a input field. It will be tomorrow before I can show this example now it may or may not work along with PayPal but you are free to try.

Pablo

No worries about that...
I just thought maybe another member would have done something like that before.
Keep up the great work on the software... :)

Thank you
