CSS & JS not generate when folders's names containts "slash" caracters

Post by GDA@A3O » Thu Mar 14, 2019 4:07 pm

Hello,

I use version 14 recently but I notice that the publication isn't correct when one specifies dynamic directories in the publish's options with slashes.Tools > Options > Publish > Target Folder for Files Types

While the Web standard specifies the use of slashes for directories and not the Windows slash.

Thanks to modify this bug for the next update.

The folder name in Target folder specifies a single level folder name, the name should not contain slashes or other special characters.
Note that this is not a bug. This feature was not designed to be used this way.

If you want create a multi-level web site structure then use the Site manager to create folders.

I do not agree to you. it is normally expected to be able to structure any website.

And in the way that we wish

Windows OS supports slashes for read and exploit their folders and not WB14. Why?

Bests regards

I'm sorry, this is not how it works. Note that this has nothing to do with Windows or slashes.
The target folder property is the name of a sub folder, not a path.

Is you have suggestions then you can post them in the 'Suggestions' section of the forum. Then other users can vote for it too.
