You are most likely viewing a cached version of the page. Please clear your browser cache by pressing F5 on your keyboard and review.

Hi Baconfries and thanks for your reply!
My problem has nothing to do with cache - if i change an H1 tag i ca see it in the published file
but the character set i type in the page properties are some how overwritten when publishing !!

Can you share your project file so we can see what you have done?

Did you also change the master page?

Hi Pablo,
Thank you for your very quick response.

No i have not changed the masterpage and it makes sense if this is the reason. I will try it and get back.

Pablo we are facing problems with the codepages because of the danish letters!

If i choose the iso character set in the properties, all fields are showing correct on the page including the danish characters
but seo characters as arrows ect. are not working?
If i choose the utf-8 - its oppesite - but if i manually open each page in notepad and save the pages both works - but it's a
major time issue. Do you know of any solution?

Best regards Michael

Hi Pablo,

By changing the masterpage the tag gets correct after publishing :-)

But if you take a look on the page below, the danish characters are not showing right :-(
https://leasebil.nu/privatleasing/audi/ ... nium-5d-95

Hope you can help me with a solution so titles are correct for seo and descriptions including danish characters are also

Thank You in advance

Best regards Michael

Does it look correct in local preview?

If yes, then it may be related to server configuration.

Hi Pablo,
Thank you for your always fast reply :-)

After finding out the solution i have decided to make two master pages:
- one for the pages which need seo tricks
- one for the pages which shows information with the danish characters

Not a clean solution but it seems to work :-)

In a small country as Denmark we are used to be a minority - i can live with my choice :-)

WYSIWYG is a fantastic development tool wit an amazing support - thank you

Best regards from Denmark

Hi Michael, I'm using the UTF-8 with swedish sites and have no issues with characters. I think Sweden and Denmark has the same part of the fonts :D
