Can’t find index.html file

Post by Jaywhy » Mon Jun 25, 2018 8:46 pm

Hi,

When I publish my page www.blessedlawncare.com it only shows some codes, but if I open http://blessedlawncare.com/index.php I can see the website. I cannot find the index.html file in the folder or anywhere in my computer for that matter. How can I recreat it? Also, Godaddy told me that I was missing the .htaccess file, whatever that means... Sorry, I’m not very knowledgeable
This same page was already up and running in iPage for two years and it is when I switched to Godaddy that I had this problem, the only change that I made to the page was replacing two pictures. I tried to use a backup thinking that the index.html would be there but didn’t work either.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The code you see is index.js.
This means that the server is wrongly configured. It should not use the JS file as landing page.

Solution 1:
Contact the web host and ask them to fix it.

Solution 2:
Disable 'Generate external JS file for page specific JavaScript' in Tools -> Options -> HTML
