Probably a mistake.
I have a regular website WYSIWYG Web builder. I wanted to put it in connection with another collection of purely htlm pages.
-I copied in the same folder as my WB site (in the yellow container file) my html files
-then I imported those pages following the import page procedure in my wb project.

I make it short because I tinkered quite a bit with all this business, trying to find a nice solution.
Anyway, now, when I make a preview of an imported page, I see by transparency another page.
I tried a couple of things like changing name of the page, moving objects one by one to another page. But even a single object is goint to be previewed wrong (letting another page appear). Actually it extends to all the pages of my site, by now.

Any idea welcome/ Thanks

Without seeing what you have done it will be difficult to help you.
What is the URL of the page?

Are you using WB10? as your source code shows this. This is related to the code you have manually added yourself this includes double opening <style> and CSS code inserted between the body tag <body ! your code here> which breaks the HTML! Please remove all code you have manually added and ensure it is inserted correctly ie between the <body> Code goes here </body> Note if using WB10 it is no longer supported.
See the following images showing your invalid code including the <style> and CSS code.

Really thank you for your friendly attention.

I did what you said ; I was aware of my mistakes basically but my "pure html site ">
http://khenpofrance.free.fr/
worked for years without problems. Now I understand it's obsolete and ok as long as I don't want to insert it in WB. Unluckily I did not keep informed after having done this site.

So, I suppressed both from the ftp server and from wysiwyg wb file every file I thought I had put my html in but the preview is still faulty. The published files are ok (luckily for me because I go for a trip tomorrow morning where I am supposed to discuss my site...).

So, what do you suggest? Do you think I could download from ftp-server my wb-made "healthy" files in a new separate file on my hard disk and reconstruct it using WB. Would it work?

Thanks again

The code generated in WYSIWYG Web Builder is also HTML and is probably more valid or pure as you have put it than that of your link given. The first we need to understand that WYSIWYG Web Builder is not HTML editor it is a HTML Generator meaning if you wish to insert any code ie CSS/HTML/JS it must be valid.

You can try to import your old site directly from your host using the following Import but in most cases it is best to start from scratch. I know redesigning may be a big chore but it will ensure your site is up to date and if you design using either with Layouts or Breakpoints then it will be displayed correctly in all browsers including mobile devices. There is no easy way to really just copy&paste from your old sites HTML into the programme one of these is that the old site uses <p></p> paragraph for text layout which isn't used in WB so you will have issues with the likes of positioning of the text on the page. As I have said the easiest way to to start from the beginning by leaving your old version in place and rework it in WB till complete once done then you can upload the new version.

Thank you for all your help.

I just dropped the idea of mixing this coded-by-myself site with this WYIWYG-webbuilered by myself site. Too risky. And my coded site would litteraly take months to be rebuilded. So I leave it at this point, using2 different servers, with a web page to webpage link between the two.

Thank again.
