This is funny one!

Post by MartinPorter » Fri Oct 19, 2018 1:44 pm

Hi everyone..

Been using an inline Frame with a external link setup inside it. this is the funny bit I can't get my head around
when I view the site/page locally the inline frame works but when I pub the site to the net all I get is the border of the Frame.

I have tested the link on a new browser tab and that works but on my site.

thanks for any help

Kind regards
Martin...

The page inside the inline frame is 'http' but your website is 'https'. For security reasons, the browser does not allow this.

thanks Pablo for getting back to me..

So the only workaround is to remove the "force redirect to HTTPS" of the server?

thanks again

Hi Martin,

I know it's off topic but...
I just noticed on your website home page that "arrears" should be "areas".
Also the blue on black contact information top right is very difficult to read.

Hi..
haha... thanks for that, it's one of them things, my fingers work faster than my head!
the links are a bit of a problem - I have set them to show up as white in the page properties but
for some reason they come out Blue!!.. it's one of them to fix but it's low down on the list at the min
unless you know a quick fix?

thanks
Martin...

Hello,
Me too, I am fighting a bit with hyperlinks style.
The (probably wrong) way I see it is that you have at least 4 accesses in a page to choose a hyperlink style color :
-page property ;
-object property,
-customised, for some object, properties.
- when you select a text, for example, and then you click on the icon link in the toolbar ;
I suppose that's where I get confused. How to choose the ultimatley proper link style we wish. I hope it's a bit your question too Martin. :)

There is no 'fix' as there is nothing to 'fix'!! Links will always show blue in the work area until till you either publish or preview then they are active!. See note:
