Deleted files still uploading and publishing

Post by Ekib » Sun Mar 19, 2017 4:15 pm

I have deleted files on my website.
However these still upload when I publish.
I have published all files.
Where can I find the deleted files ? Since I deleted some that I would like to recover. They must be somewhere since they still upload.
Here's a link that I know I deleted but still shows up:

Thanks for any help!

If you remove files from the project then they will not be published again.
However they may still be in the project folder unless you have used the Asset manager to clean the orphan files.

The deleted files are not in site and asset manager anymore. Is there any other place they could be?
I called the host and they said somehow wisywig can't delete them on the server.
Do you have an idea?

The software will never remove any files from the server. That could cause major problems, because it does not know if the file is used by another scripts or server related functionality.
If there are files on the server you want to delete then you will have to do that manually. But be careful because removing the wrong files may make cause problems with your website.
