z-index navigation safari

Post by syncopic » Mon Mar 12, 2018 3:24 pm

Hello Forum,

i´m not sure, if this is the right forum, but ...

i´ve made a website http://www.pro-e-fact.de/preview/annabring/index.html which contains a masterpage with integrated navigation.
On some other sites there is a carousel with animated pic-changing. Within Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Edge all works fine. My customer told me, that on safari (Mac) a failure appears with navigation. At the moment, pic is changing, the carousel covers the navigation - so it looks very sad.

The "content" area on the masterpage is (of course) behind the head area, so the z-index is set well, i think (also working in all other browsers).
May someone have any suggestions, so i´m able to manage this on Safari ?

Unfortunatly i don´t have any Mac here, just PC 8)

Thanks for your response

Some animations are rendered on top of all other content, otherwise they would not work.
If this conflicts with your layout then you can consider using a different animation type.

Hi Pablo,

thanks for extremely fast answer ! ... but i´m afraid of, that this is not the problem, because it´s working fine in all other browsers.
I know, here is no support for browsers, but ... maybe ... someone has an idea or experience with safari issues ?
I searched the web for z-index failures of safari and ... it might be, that there are some faults. Anyway a solution were great.

Nevertheless i will check another type of animation.

Hello Pablo,

your suggestion with another animation is working :D Thanks a lot !
I turned into "fade" and made the masterframe (with navigation) "relative horizontal", because i noticed, that a frame with this configuration has priority.

Thanks again !
