create hyperlink using plain text

Post by ceprince » Fri May 19, 2017 8:33 am

Hello. I am planning to create many links to PDF recipe files. The reason I don't want to use image is causing too much load. I want to lessen the load by using the plain text. How do I create hyperlink using the plain text? Also, how can I change style on that text such as changing color and text size? My webpage is still under construction.

I'm puzzled here.
Why not just use one of the many built-in navigation menus e.g. the Text Menu?
Or just a plain text object. (EDIT: as BaconFries suggests.)

To WWBman, Alexmass and baconfries, thanks for the reply and your time to answer my question. I read your post and check the link you sent me. They are all great. I just want a simple hypertext for over 200 recipes. That's why I don't want to use image link or navigation because image will take longer to load and navigation hides the names of recipes. I want recipes to show on webpage at all times. WWBman, hope this post help you understand why I prefer hypertext. I didn't know that I had to highlighted the text before I could link to the file. I found out the text inside area is easier to edit rather than text for each recipe file. My webpage is still under construction. Again, thanks.
