Looks like you found it in the Kubelabs post Eddy. Thank you so much!

......have to define a path for php sessions.

After it tested fine on my server, I knew it was my client's server My SQL setting. Because they set it up I have no idea what to advise them to change or add. I'll send this to ...

I tried another database on a different server and it works fine, so it must be the server database settings.

After you log in, you get the empty fields to add an event. When you fill them in and hit "add event", it takes you back to log in instead of adding the event. Log back in and the cycle ...

Eddy

I'm finding when you select "No" for allowing others to add events, it also does not allow the admin as well. I've reloaded 3 times and still cannot log in to add an event when I check "No" during the install.

Could you test this and see if it works on your server? Anyone else having this ...

Thanks for trying Eddy. I do appreciate it.

I don't like Google calendars because they do not word wrap the event title. The calendar you did this extension for does word wrap the title and really looks good. I like it, and the fact that I can set it up for clients to add their own events. Big ...

It is working perfectly now. Great extension. Thank you so much Eddy.

The requirement to name the page index.php and place in a folder to not conflict with the main index page was not in the .pdf instructions. I would add that very important step. Also consider adding that the install.php file to ...

I'm having trouble after I install and then remove the install.php file

I'm then instructed to click on continue, but I get NOT FOUND index.php

So I started all over again and now I cannot get it to accept my username/password/database name and install again.

Any ideas?

Update: I uninstalled the ...

That's terrific BaconFries. I think this will be a great extension if allowed. I can't imagine why they would mind, but you never know. My fingers are crossed. I commend you all for your efforts.

Because I have so many of these to do, I'm really hoping for the lazyman's solution of an extension I can add the photos, type the text for each photo, then publish.

Eddy's way will work, so at least I have that option if necessary. It looks like it will be a little less work than having to form ...

This is a bummer.

I must have checked into 20 or more flash slideshow programs and none of them allow descriptions below the picture. I'm really amazed by this.

I thank you all for your efforts. I really do appreciate it.

Great find star57. This would make a great extension, especially if a fade option were added. I really like the fact you can add a link in the text.

The extension would be perfect if text attributes like font, bold, and italics were added.

Thank you so much star57.

Star57
That's my website. I built that slideshow. I'm trying to avoid having to do this. I have many of these to build and will have to update the text frequently.

Sneil69
Thanks for the info.

Sneil69, is there any way to activate the description entry in this extension? Also add basic text attributes (font, bold)?

I'm looking to be able to build slideshows like these with your extension:

I had to build each photo with description ...

I really like this extension. It is exactly what I am looking for, except I cannot get the description feature to work. Only the title will appear. Is the description feature active?
