Thanks Navaldesign - that worked. I was using an older version of the extension and missed this new setting. Much appreciated!

Parse for commas in fields in CSV files

I am using DBTS form processor to store data in a CSV for Excel file on the server. If a user enters a comma inside a field value, the CSV file spills onto a new row for each comma it encounters within the field text. Is there a way to have the form processor parse for commas inside a field and repl...

Use the Short form for the color, in the form field. I will assume that the checkbox name is " colour ". Since the submission has already taken place, (Preview used only as confirmation) then you should simply add some code in preview object HTML, Before Tag: <?php if ($PREVIEW[' colour '] != ""){ ...

Substitute different text for field value using DBTS preview

Is it possible to show substitute text for a field value when using DBTS preview on a page? I explain my question using a very trivial example: On a form I have a check box for colour. The name of the color is "powder coat midnight blue". I store the color in a CSV file, and rather than store the lo...

Javascript acts on local (visitor's computer) level. To validate through PHP you need to use the DBTS Form Processor ability to use custom includes. The eventual error will be reported in the error page. I've read the DBTS manual on custom includes but I am not really sure how to get started. Do yo...

I would like to use DBTS form processor to handle user signup for a newsletter with recaptcha. As part of the signup I would like to validate user's email by having them enter it twice. say for example I have an editbox on a form called BusinessName. The user types in Joe's Pizza and clicks submit. DBTS preview correctly displays the data as Joe's Pizza in the table, but if I use the variable name somewhere else on the same page, I get Joe\'s Pizza. I am using this code: Your busin...

There are 4 mistakes in your approach: 1. $fieldname is the array of fieldnames. "value" will never be in it. 2. $fieldname doesn't exist when coming back to the form page 3. "value" would never, anyway, exist in the $fieldname array, even if it existed. 4. of course, "value" is the imploded value,...

I have been following the instructions in the DBTS manual on how to preserve your form values. It works great for text boxes and radio buttons, but I cannot get it to work for multi-value checkboxes...I presume the if statement for the inside tag needs to be written differently? thanks I thought I ...

<? echo implode(",", $Choices);?> Thankyou very much for your prompt rely. When I use this I get 0) as the output. Can I doublecheck I am doing this correctly: should the <? echo' and ';?> go into the HTML before & after tags? What about the '. and .' delimiters shown in the manual - do I need to u...
