Re: Problem after update

Open the site and immediately save it under a new name. Then change something and save it. Close off WWB, reopen it and see if your new project is OK.

Re: Wrong link executed

Can't figure out what is wrong here : http://www.beleuramyhome.org.au If prompted, enter villa number 61. On the home page, there are two buttons : Music Station and Village artists I need to update this page, but when I tried to preview the change - clicking on either of those buttons gets an erro...

do you feel there is a benefit of using 64 over 32?
How about rephrasing - what are the benefits of using the 32 bit version?

I've been solely on the 64 bit version since V14 and have seen no need to 'downgrade'

Re: Strange - goes to the bottom of the page

It goes directly to the data entry line.

Re: Button With Text In Problem

Nope - on the next to smallest view, it still moves to the top of the button. On the smallest one, it disappears.

To show us the source, you need to package up (winzip?) the .wbs file and the folder with the same name. Put it somewhere like dropbox and post the link.

Re: Button With Text In Problem

Hummm - I see what you mean. But, as Pablo says - we would need the WWB file to investigate. The page source doesn't show me anything odd (but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place - I'm not an expert)

Re: I need advice--First time website ever!!!

Just had a look at your site. It's nice - but some of the images are still very big (the contact one is 14Mb). However, one issue may be where you are hosting it. I have a 500mb/sec download line into my house and it's still very slow to load your pictures. What bandwidth do they offer you? [That wi...

Re: Do mobile phones always look for the 320 breakpoint?

Try clicking on this site https://www.mydevice.io/ from your mobile phone

It's not the one I was thinking of, but it may help.

Re: New Web Design Service Website

Looks nice. But why does it say (c) 2018 at the bottom? Should that be 2019?

Re: Do mobile phones always look for the 320 breakpoint?

The part I don't understand is: why does my phone browser which has a screen at its disposal of 1080 wide, still opt for the 480 breakpoint? Shouldn't it use the 800 one for example? I don't understand what criteria they use to determine which breakpoint they use. No, that's not how phones work. Th...

Re: I need advice--First time website ever!!!

What is the best size to make photos load quickly but still look nice on the web pages? Thanks. Use some sort of photo resizer to make them smaller. I generally go for something around 1280 x 768 or similar (depends on the aspect ratio). Where abouts do you live? I would be open to chatting to you ...

Re: I need advice--First time website ever!!!

I am a reasonably experienced designer/builder of web sites and I was confused bt WWB when I first started using it. The concepts were so different to what I had been used to before that I had to start again in my thinking. But I got there in the end and, while I am still learning, I can now build a...
