Re: Second Site with Web Builder

When I go there with Firefox, all I get is text. I also get a warning that Adblock is blocking 53 ads. Not sure what that is about ... Jumped over to Edge, and it looked fine but some of the links are not working. The "request service" form opens in a new window that looks nothing like the rest of t...

Re: Slider INSIDE of flex grid ... HOW?

Why can I not remove the left/right padding in the layout grid? Only one of the sliders works the way I need it to (it MUST centered in the page ... most of the sliders won't center on the page when placed in the layout grid. They all align to the left side of the page.), but in order to use it with...

Slider INSIDE of flex grid ... HOW?

I have been asked to duplicate a site I created several years ago in W**P**s *8. (http://www.qliteradio.com) Importing the site is not an option because of the multiple sliders on the pages. Customer wants it to be responsive because he has dropped in the google rankings because his site is not resp...

Re: I think I'm getting down to the short strokes ... (Site review)

Changed the sliders (which I really like the change) then turned my daughter the writer loose on the copy. The site's owner had written all his own copy, and you likely noticed, writing isn't his strong suit.

The site is now live at http://www.wattssomefun.biz --- for better or for worse.

I think I'm getting down to the short strokes ... (Site review)

Second site with WWB ... lots of learning (took up too much of Pablo's time with what I now see were silly problems) coming from other web building programs to this one. Anyhow, this is the site (still in a temp directory on my server) http://www.ahgweb.com/wsf1 Some things the customer demanded (ho...

Re: More flexgrid headaches ... I'm missing something!

LOL! 2 GB? That doesn't sound like me . . . Not a major player. Even after a reboot of the computer, I still had to shut the program down once because it locked up and ceased responding. It had not done this until the latest update (5/19/2018) I installed. BTW, my computer has 8 GB ram and the total...

Re: More flexgrid headaches ... I'm missing something!

UPDATED: All is working now. What did I do? Shut down the computer and came back later. After uploading site, all is working. The program crashed several times today, had to shut it down with task manager at least twice this afternoon after it became unresponsive. Could that be causing this problem?

Re: More flexgrid headaches ... I'm missing something!

Thanks, that fixed the problem with the flexgrid. Fixing the flex grid, broke several of my pages. How? Now my master page refuses to break at the breakpoints . . . but only on some pages, not all. Some pages, breakpoints work. All pages have the same breakpoints as the master page does. I use the s...

More flexgrid headaches ... I'm missing something!

Alignment . . . order. I'm not a very ordered person by nature, but there's something I'm definitely having a problem with here. The flex grid doesn't play well with layers. Removed ALL layers, started with an extremely small part of a project. I need to have only 3 cells (sorry, I'm old and the fle...

Why not use margin?
I've been looking for "page" property, didn't think to look at object arrange. Thanks.

Sometimes figuring out where to look is half the battle.

Re: Flexgrid Content NOT Visible

I do use layers as a spacer to keep the first layer off of the absolute top of a page. and the absolute bottom of a page. Inside of layers though, I usually use a transparent shape as a spacer.

Re: Flexgrid Content NOT Visible

First note that Internet Explorer does not support CSS layout grid, so it will not work in IE. I knew that, that is why I tried as I was getting nothing in the browsers that are supposed to support it. Also: - flex grids do not work with master pages. THAT is likely where the problem is then. Looke...

Flexgrid Content NOT Visible

Now that I have a breather, I'll take the time to show what is the problem with the flex grid. When I downloaded your example, it works perfectly. When I place a flex grid on the page (using either the default configuration, choosing a template, or building from scratch) I get one of two things. Som...
