Re: Master page within a master page?

Clone your master page, and then add in whatever extras you need, then name this page as 'Master-page-slide', or something like that. Then you have a choice of using whichever Master page suits you for the look or features you need.

Re: *** SOLVED *** Upgrade to ver 14.0.2 fail

Okay.... Thanks.

I'll keep plugging away. I'm sure it's something at my end. I had not see any other forum members commenting on the new release being a problem, so that also points the finger in this direction!

I appreciate the quick replies.

Re: *** Still Fails *** Upgrade to ver 14.0.2 fail

What I don't understand is that the project file works fine in 14.0.2. Over time, I have made several changes to the web site, saving each separately as I go along, with a new file name. All of those previous project files load without any issue in 14.0. It was only after I upgraded to 14.2, and the...

*** Fail again *** Upgrade to ver 14.0.2 fail

Sorry to be a pain... I'm having a similar issue when trying to upgrade to version 14.3.3, now. The program loads, but as soon as I try to select a breakpoint, the program stops, and I see the same debug error message as above. The last time I was upgrading from ver 12 to 14. This time from 14.0 to ...

Re: Menu background transparency - how to add?

I'm not quite sure if you mean "how to add a background image, which is transparent" so that other text, blocks, or images can be seen "in front" of the background more clearly. If that is the case, I use a photo editor to manipulate the background image, to "wash it out". Lower the contrast, hue, a...

Re: Can't toggle 'Toolbox'

Maybe you have enabled 'auto hide'? Click the 'pin' icon to toggle auto hide.
Crap... that was it !! I totally forgot about the 'pin'. I must have toggled it inadvertently and not noticed.

All is well again. A big Thanks for the hint!

Can't toggle 'Toolbox'

Ver 14.3.1 ... In the 'View' tab, I am not able to toggle the Toolbox. When I click inside the checkbox, the Toolbox panel slides out from the left side of the screen for about one second, and then slides back in immediately. The check box remains 'un-checked'. If I am fast enough to click the Toolb...

Slideshow - aspect ratio

Perhaps I missed a simple properties configuration, but I would like to fix the aspect ratio of the slideshow "window" to a value of 4:3, so that images are displayed without being stretched. When I create a slideshow, I can drag the "window" to virtually any random shape, and I can't easily tell wh...

Re: Restore a page

Select 'Tools' > 'Backup Manager'. Look to see if you have a backup copy saved of your project in the list (hopefully).

Re: PDF file load delay

Another method is to set up the link to "Open in a new browser window" (_blank). When a user clicks on the link, a second tab (window) will open and you can see the progress of the download. When the document has been read, then closing this second window brings you back to where you were, without h...

Re: Couple of Flex grid issues...

1... 11... 12... 13... 1∞ as lesser than 2.
Correct... that is a normal result when the 'sort' is performed alphabetically.

Knowing that, another solution might be to label them as 'pt01', 'pt02', etc. Then 'pt10' and 'pt20' would treated as expected.

Re: How to Send a Message with a email form and a simple message editbox

The "mailto:" action will cause the user's email client to open. When this happens the user adds whatever comments or questions he may have into the body of the email, and then he/she presses 'Send". Just a normal email function.

Re: Couple of Flex grid issues...

I have a work around already. I haven't run into the issue you described, but it would be valuable to others who may have, if you would provide the details of your work around. The problem you had might be a limitation of the program, or in the manner it was implemented. In any event, I'm glad you ...
