Inserting Match reports etc.

In Peak racing season (now), weekly I need to insert both text and images to the 'Match Report' page. What this entails is 'Selecting All' - moving the last weeks report down (guessing how much space is required) - Inserting the new text and images from the most recent meeting (which invariably over...

animated gif's

Is it not possible to put an animated gif in my website? I just put a rotating (should be) wheel gif in a page as I would an ordinary image and it did not 'animate'. Is it possible? If so what should I be doing?

Re: Frequent page updates creates problems

No, afraid I can refresh 10 times with no change, but as soon as I clear all browsing - all good. The problem I have is that as one member said "trouble is if I clear all browsing I have to re-enter all passwords for many sites, and I aint doing that". As I have stated several times, there are many ...

Re: Frequent page updates creates problems

Almost there! The second code you gave worked like a dream (almost). It worked first time :D but when I made minor alterations minutes later, I again had to clear my browsing history before it was correct. I made changes again today (league updates)and once again it worked perfectly, but again when ...

Frequent page updates creates problems

There are millions of sites that change the content of certain pages very frequently - news - offers - images etc. etc. I have a problem that I cannot seem to correct. I have a news page and a results page that will only display correctly after deleting all browsing data. Well this is ok for me as I...

to stop video?

I've inserted a short MP4 video in my blog with WWBVideoPlayer1- Hidden video - Added icon to play video - Using events to open video - All works well but I want the video screen to disappear when it's finished. In events I have used onanimationend - Hide, but that doesn't do the trick. What event s...

Google fonts

I assume that as the google fonts are categorised as 'web-safe', that all are viewable 'as-is' to every viewer in whatever browser?

Re: Very basic Forum

As ALWAYS your help is magnificent but upon downloading it, the instruction text is beyond my comprehension and slightly more of than 'War and Peace!'. But thanks again for your response.

Very basic Forum

I manage a small website for a Cycle Speedway team www.hellinglylions.org. What I would like is a VERY basic forum as unlike this forum I have possibly only a couple of hundred potential viewers. All I need is the ability/facility for someone to click on a forum button on my website, read and add co...

Fonts an fings!

Two questions on a similar theme:- 1) On my website I predominately use Arial font. I am told this is boring and old hat! Changing my text to a different more 'cool' font, I then realised that many fonts are changed when viewed by various browsers. Are the 'Web-safe-Fonts in WWB so named because the...
