Re: Carousel as a full page website

@Zinc, Is the site you are speaking of live? if so, would you mind sharing a link? Never thought about actually hiding the carousel in lower BP's. My only concern would be there would be duplicate content on the page for the same things. If there is a small amount of content in general it may not be...

Re: Carousel as a full page website

Hey Zinc, thanks for the links. I had forgotten about the 'apple' demo. Based on that, it is only useful for basically desktops/larger screens. The only way to use it for a whole website is you would need to do a re-direct for smaller screens to a mobile site. However, I feel this is no longer good ...

Carousel as a full page website

I'm intrigued by using the carousel to create a full page website; however my concern is how it performs when you get down to a mobile size and if it's even realistic to use. Since the carousel fits the full screen of the device, what you see on the screen is what you get. This leaves very little ro...

Re: facebook App ID Problems

In the page properties, under meta tags, in the user defined section you will need to add the fb:app_id info.

For example:

<meta property="fb:app_id" content="your app id number goes here">

Re: Index Page not Ranking

First, I'm in no way even close to an SEO expert. I've seen sites that look like very little was done in the way of design and seo and they come up in searches where other sites that were done better don't. I've never been able to figure it out myself. Obviously, if you have a niche product or servi...

Re: Village website

The biggest thing I notice is that its not responsive. With people traveling there, many will be using mobile devices to view your site so I would concentrate on making it responsive. Your sites layout is not too complex so it should be easy to make it mobile friendly. Your background images do not ...

This is what I see on my chrome for your site after I load the script: http://www.wizbangwebdesign.com/demo/secure.JPG I've used GridRip on a site here: http://www.losreyesmarietta.com/menu.html and I don't have that issue popping up on my chrome like your site. since your site is using https: have ...

Re: Can't hide text in flexbox?

Pablo,

Per my example, it appears that the following code in the generated CSS:

Code: Select all

visibility:visible;display:inline;
is being applied to the ID:

#Text1

but should be applied to ID:

#wb_Text1

When this is done, it works correctly.

Re: Can't hide text in flexbox?

Hey Pablo, I am using the most current version. I have a text box that I've hidden in the default view but is visible in a breakpoint. In the workspace it looks correct. However, when I preview the text box in the breakpoint(s) are not visible. If I unhide it in default view, then it shows in the br...

Re: Can this be done with Flexbox

Thanks Pablo,

I set the flexbox-property of the image to 0 and the text to 1. I also set the flex-basis of the text to 48%, added some padding to the text object and it seems to work pretty good now.

Re: Can't hide text in flexbox?

Hey Pablo,

I was hoping this was updated but it doesn't look like this was implemented in the most recent update. Any ETA on this?

It also appears that you cant have different padding in each breakpoint for the flexbox container which is needed as well.

Thanks.

Can this be done with Flexbox

Hello, trying to simply implement the following using flexbox. http://www.wizbangwebdesign.com/demo/flexbox.JPG I have an image on the left with a text box on the right. I've set the following for the flexbox container: flex-direction: row flex-wrap: nowrap justify-content: flex-start align-items: c...
