Re: background image

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to but you could try this for the background image. In the background, select image, set the horizontal and vertical to Center and in the Size box choose 100% 100% in the drop down and then type over this with 970px 540px and change the height (540px) to what...

Re: link problems

Did you try WWBman's suggestion? Here is the url from your webpage: http://mojetestowanie.refy.pl/Polityka-prywatności.html Here is the url from WWBman: http://mojetestowanie.refy.pl/Polityka-prywatnosci.html The only difference is the accented 's'. The URL that WWBman posted works. In any submenu a...

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer

It sounds like you are double clicking on the project file to open it. I would suggest opening WB15 and then using the file menu to open up the project file.

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer

@marynarz1, Saving a project and publishing a project are 2 different things. When you start a new project and then save it, WB saves that file in a particular file format (.wbs). This is your project file. When you want to continue adding to the project, this is the file you load into WB and not th...

Re: Website Looks fine when previewing, but not when live.

I downloaded your project. None of your pages have the page extension set to .php. I know you mentioned you changed it and it didnt help; however, based on my testing that solved the issue. Here is a link to your home page with simply changing the page extension to .php. https://www.wizbangwebdesign...

Hard to say without seeing what you did. It works for me. Do you have a link to the page?

Re: How to display current year for copyright?

If you simply double click on the text box to edit it and then right click inside to bring up the context menu, select 'symbol' and choose 'copyright'. WB already has some useful symbols available for use. If you are looking for an automated option where the year is updated automatically, you can us...

Re: Website Looks fine when previewing, but not when live.

Not the form but is the page extension set to .php? It looks like they are set to .html. You can change this in the page properties. On the 'George' page, the url in the address bar is this: http://www.vintagevolksweddings.co.uk/george.html and it should be http://www.vintagevolksweddings.co.uk/geor...

Re: Website Looks fine when previewing, but not when live.

Typically it means 1 of 2 things:

1. You have a form on your page. In that case, the page extension should be set to .php rather than .html
2. You have manually added some code for something and there is an error in the code breaking the page which shows up.

Re: Layout Grid and Flex Grid problems

What exactly are you trying to do? What do you mean by 'attach any elements as <div>'? If you are wanting to add code inside, use the html code box and then drag it inside. As for images, you simply drag the image inside the grid column. If you want the image to scale, set full-width of image to Tru...

Re: Add icon to shape

Can you explain exactly what you are trying to create by adding the icon to a shape? Is the shape just the background for the icon? Are you adding text also to the shape? Trying to understand what the final result is supposed to be.

Re: What actually layers are?

1. As far as I know, layers is used for WB. There may be other software that uses the term also but it is not necessarily a universal term for something. 2. No. The type of layout objects you use (layers, layout grid, flex container, flexgrid) is determined by your design. Personally, if you are wan...
