Re: [rz] Sticky Object

Note to future users! There is NOTHING wrong with this extension and it works BEAUTIFULLY across all kinds of browsers and all kinds of page designs: except one. You cannot put anything in front of a PDF, period. RZ has spent countless hours with me trying to make it happen, but it is out of his con...

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

Apparently, there is nothing we can do to get it working for me or for the owner. I changed the pages to html5. I embedded the PDF into the test page and used an Iframe into the main page. It positions correctly until the PDF loads. When the iframe is empty and still loading the pdf, the order is fi...

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

I did not mean to offend with the file name, only the position is bad, not the extension! Unfortunately, I have asked the site owner to test it for me, and she sees exactly what I see. When the browser is narrowed, the sticky disappears behind the PDF plug-in. She is using Safari and Chrome, while I...

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

Interesting. I have no trouble opening it in IE at all. I have renamed the offending objects. Two pages need the sticky image. http://creativeoutletdance.com/schedule.html http://creativeoutletdance.com/brochure.html Try using a smaller browser window, narrower, to see what I mean. Apparently, I was...

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

I found it. It's Insert Media=> Other Media => Plug-in

Here is the link: http://creativeoutletdance.com/brochure.html

It is not a problem in FF because the margins widen and the sticky doesn't cover anything. It only happens in IE.

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

I don't know, actually. It's just called "plug-in" in the extensions list. Or it was. I don't see it in the list anymore! Ug. It seems I need a new way to display PDF files on the page as well. I noticed yours was out of service. :(

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

Ug. Nope. It won't go in front of the plug-in extension containing the PDF

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

It took me a minute to figure out that the extension I was using wasn't yours, so thank you for clarifying that for other users too! And thank you for the incredibly quick response. It did look like the "classic" mode of your extension, Sticky Object (not Fixed Object from another author) was exactl...

Re: [rz] Sticky Object

Question before purchase. :) It may sound silly, because it seems like this would be the exact nature of this extension, but I want to be sure. I already have two that aren't working for what I need in IE, though they are fine in FF. So thank you for the patience. I need to post a "sticky note" over...
