Re: Blog object - strange...

I am using for all cases to show a PDF inside an iFrame the following code http://docs.google.com/gview?url=http://www.squadron-125.org.il/mypdf/gloves.pdf&embedded=true This I do for the problem of the Safari. But I repeat, it seems NOT a browser problem, but rather - how many entries are in the bl...

Re: Blog object - strange...

The point I am trying to make is the following:

1) It is NOT one browser, it is Chrome, Safari and the one included on Android devices...
2) Why are we pointing at the "Browser" when the difference between the two pages is clearly - 10 or more entries, it works...

Re: Blog object - strange...

All articles are at least ONE page, some are 2-3 pages. The viewing window in Mobile phone mode can only show about the half of the first page (deliberatly set that way so that people can see the buttons underneath) Some of th earticles are actually a HTML page and not a pdf document and the problem...

Re: Blog object - strange...

OK, I did a copy of the page for testing here : http://www.squadron-125.org.il/blogtest.html Obviously, the empty blog entries are floating now to the top of the list BUT - it seems, the changing the blog order to descending does NOT fix the problem... So, it seems the ordering is not what makes any...

Re: Blog object - strange...

The default setting of the blog object is asscending. If I have more than 10 items in the blog - I set it to descending , it woks fine and has the last item that was added to the blog as the top one in the list I can't set it to descending until it has at least 10 entries, the material is added by m...

Re: Blog object - strange...

Well, I know it works on a mobile phome in Landscape BUT - why one page works OK in portrait and the other does not? As I said, the only difference in the setup is that one has more than 10 entries, so I could set it to be sorted in Descending mode, the scrollbar works, but NOT when it is in asscend...

Re: Blog object - strange...

OK, please note : 1) The problem shows up only on small mobile phone devices (iPhone, Galaxy...) 2) It shows the problem on either Android or Apple devices. If you look at : http://www.squadron-125.org.il/thewars.html and select the first topic in the blog object, it will show the article PDF in the...

Blog object - strange...

The problem only manifests itself on a Mobile / small device and shows the same problem on an iPhone or Android I have several pages using it - the first that works fine is this : http://www.squadron-125...

Strange, Edge again - but only for this Hebrew site Please check with any browser (but Edge) : http://www.squadron-125.org.il/ If you visit the site with edge - you get only half the menu headings : http://www.squadron-125.org.il/edge.jpg The site has a header object, in it an embedded menu A place ...

Re: Login dialog on local machine

Hi WWBman, The "Problem" started here - https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=82171&e=1&view=unread#unread I asked what is the purpose of the two final code lines generated by WWB : $username = isset($_COOKIE['username']) ? $_COOKIE['username'] : ''; $password = isset($_COOKIE...

If I try to access the Loging dialog by direct URL, it works fine on the website, but on my local XAMPP, it shows This : http://www.beleuramyhome.org.au/log...

Re: Login object - remember me

This answers my first question, from the article I can see how to have multiple elemnt in ONE Cookie, but 1) Whay is that not used in the PHP code generated by WWB when using the Login object? 2) What is the purpose of the final two lines? Is that just so that those values become available to subseq...

Login object - remember me

I look at the code generated here by WWB, at the end of it there are 2 lines setcookie('username', $_POST['username'], time() + 3600*24*30); setcookie('password', $_POST['password'], time() + 3600*24*30); Then, after that: $username = isset($_COOKIE['username']) ? $_COOKIE['username'] : ''; $passwor...
