Re: Combobox Data
Thank you for that. It seems the way of the world now. Much like us old folk, software has a use by date. When reached, you no longer get the support you need. I do however, appreciated your support with my query and I won't bother you again. Thanks again

Combobox Data
I am currently using WYSIWYG 16.4.0 and I would like to know the following. 1. Where and in what file (filename) is the combobox data stored? 2. Can I edit/add to the data using my FTP (Filezilla) rather than having to do it in WYSIWYG and re-sending the page via FTP? 3. Can users also add to the co...

Crash after clicking LINK
I have 16.4 installed. On a standard HTML page, I have a few objects and want to have users click on a button (shape) to download a file. The SHAPE tabs are: General, Text, Link, Events, Animations and Output. I can select any tab and it shows the settings for that topic. However, when I click on th...

Re: Combobox validation
Thanks for the reply. As I don't know anything about server side scripts, I guess I'll put up with the spammers.
I do block countries from my website so only AU, US, GB and NZ are allowed. I'm sure the scammers get around it but at least I have reduced it 90%.

Combobox validation
Hi All! I have a combobox (version 16.4.0) in my form, which is used to select a month (Feb - Nov). I need a way to make sure only the month is selected from the drop down list. When humans fill in the form, it works great and I receive the data to my email address. When non-humans send the form it ...

Editing an existing website
Hi All, I lost all my websites that I made with WYSIWYG in a ransomware attack, including 3 backup drives which were all still connected to my PC at the time. Horrible thing to happen, all photos - EVERYTHING! I reinstalled Win-10-Pro 21H1 and all is good. If I download the websites from the server,...

Re: Email spam
@gregbarnes Use the 'Insert >> HTML' function to create a text box where you want this note to be displayed. Open the HTML Properties and insert the following code: <?php $data = @json_decode(file_get_contents("http://www.geoplugin.net/json.gp?ip=" . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])); $city = $da...

Re: Email spam
Hi Greg, I think you'll find that you still need an ABN (or acceptable alternative) for a .net.au domain. I've just checked a dummy .net.au with my Registrar and that is certainly the case. Cheers Colin. I have obtained 2 new domain names with the ".COM" so I won't have ABN issues anymore...

Re: Email spam
I would like to thank you all for your assistance - very much appreciated. My domain registrant has advised me that by no longer holding an ABN I have to use a domain that does not require an ABN so I will be changing to the .net.au domain name. When that all done (soon I hope), I would like to get ...

Re: Email spam
At a minimum, you would want to add a captcha to help reduce 'bots' from finding your contact form and hammering it to death. I have been using recaptcha2, with some success. On my Contact form, I also display the IP address of the client (and city look-up) to 'tell' the potential spammer that &quo...

Re: Email spam
Would there be anyone here that could hold my hand and guided me through all the steps I need to follow to get the Recaptcha2 or Recaptcha3 to work successfully on a standard WYSIWIG form? OR point me to where I can get that tutorial? I will patiently await a reply. Cheers, Greg

Re: Email spam
Thank you Pablo and MGD4me. I think I will try the inbuilt form script and see how that goes. I would like to use the captcha system but I have not been able to get it to work successfully. The reason I used the DBTS system is because it allowed an auto-responder to send back to the client that I re...

Hi, I have been getting spammed a lot lately and would love to know the best way to set up my "Contact Us" email system so we can avoid getting up to 400 spam emails per day. I'm OK developing the basic website pages but I'm a novice at setting up the email part and really need some help. ...

Many thanks to Crispy68 (Ron) from www.wizbangwebdesign.com. He has issued an update to the Twenty Twenty slider extension and it works perfectly on my website in the Colourisation page at www.isacimages.com.au. It's called WBWD-Twenty-Twenty1.2
Many thanks Ron

Re: Comparison Slider
Hi Siegbert,
I just use the "Image" tool to show my images and place it anywhere on the page. They range in size from 800px to 1024px.
For the galleries I use the "Photo Gallery" tool, which can have lots of photos in. I Highly recommend WYSIWYG for your website.

Re: Comparison Slider
I decided to give TWENTY TWENTY a go. It seems to work well but for one bug. I run my website from any browser and on the menu bar I select "Colourise B&W" and when the page displays, the Twenty-Twenty box is blank. I have 9 image comparisons (Colour and B&W) and selecting any of t...

Strange path name in File Upload
I inserted a "File Upload" control on my form and it works great. The client can upload a file to my server without problems. I do however, see that the filename path is "C:\fakepath\image.jpg". How can I show the correct path and not the "fakepath"? Thanks in advance.

Re: Form data sent when I press ENTER key.
I appreciate your prompt reply, so thank you. I am not good at the code side of things so I won't be doing anything like that. The SUBMIT button is DISABLED (which cancels the ENTER key) when the form is opened. I have put a checkbox on the form which must be checked before clicking on the SUBMIT bu...

Re: Form data sent when I press ENTER key.
Thanks for the reply - appreciated! I would like to try this: $(document).ready(function() { $(window).keydown(function(event){ if(event.keyCode == 13) { event.preventDefault(); return false; } }); }); but I don't know where to insert the code. As far as using Recaptcha, I have not grasped the entir...

Recaptcha v2 problem.
I am using Recaptcha v2 and it works fine except for one small problem. The form is completed and "I am not a Robot" is ticked and when the send button is clicked, it sends a confirmation email to the client and I get a copy in my email as well. The problem is that the Recaptcha is filling...
