Re: Slideshow with long captions...?

Ah, thanks folks.

No - I hadn't thought of using the carousel. I'll take a look - that might do the trick.
Thanks

Slideshow with long captions...?

HI All Is there a slideshow extension that would allow me to display a paragraph-long caption with each image? I'm adding a 'how to' slideshow to my stained-glass website, detailing the stages in repairing a stained-glass panel - and the single-line 'Title' that the standard slideshow offers is a bi...

Re: "The entered code was wrong"

HI Baconfries Ah - so I have - bother! <g> Not quite sure how I managed to do that - but I see that there's a stray 'captcha' object on the 'success' and on the 'fail' pages - in fact there's a whole raft of obsolete stuff on those pages - 'below the fold'... Many thanks - all cleaned up now! Thank ...

"The entered code was wrong"

HI Folks I have a form at http://www.mast.ie/application.php It uses the built-in for processor script. On completing the form and pressing 'submit', I get the 'The entered code was wrong' message at the top of the success page, although the form is being sent correctly. There's no captcha on the pa...

Re: Help with form, please?

OK - Forget that...

Seems that deleting the Captcha and reinserting it made it all work.....

Don't know why?

Thanks

Help with form, please?

HI Folks I'm having trouble with a form - it's almost certainly something silly I've done - but I can's see what. The form is at <url deleted> Once completed, the page goes blank... If I replace the action in the form with a 'mailto' then it pops up an email in my copy of Thunderbird, but asking the...

Re: jusr first page in Google find

It's worth taking a look at Google Webmaster Tools - there's a whole lot of information there, and the ability to see your website as Google sees it.
What's the address of your website? - if we knew that then it might be possible to make some suggestions.

Re: Links to Email

Hi
Or publish to a test domain that you set up, or even a sub-directory on your own domain - as in www.mydomain.com/test(/index.html and so on)

If you want to be really fussy then you can add meta-tags to stop Google from indexing your test pages....

Re: copy/paste text with links

HI Bacon Ah, sorry, I should have checked... It'd actually be better if the links just failed to copy - as then it'd be obvious (as they'd show up without the blue/underlined style.... ...but WB actually adds links - just the wrong ones... which gives you (me!) a false sense of security Thanks Adrian

Re: Text layout - error message

HI Pablo Thanks for the reply. This isn't a responsive site.... - there's a parallel 'lite' jquery mobile site - without all the eye-candy <g>. So - as to the warning - I could put the long listing back into one big text area? - while being aware that some browsers _might_ have difficulty with it? W...

Text layout - error message

HI I'm working on a 'what's on' page for a client - basically a long, long list of date, event, contact details. Before the error checking, this list was done as just a single, long, text object - which made it easy to add or delete events (as the events below the edit simply flowed up or down) - bu...
