- you do not need to publish the master page.
- if you want to add the code to a master page then it should be in an HTML object, set to 'between head tags'
Thank you Pablo for the correction - apologies etchbu 8)

Re: Should you have multiple Google Analytics snippets in Breakpoints?

@ColinM: Please note that "at" tagging doesn't work in this forum. So, what I have done just now is gone to the page of my website called " masterpage1 " This page is set to NOT PUBLISH, Why would you set page to NOT PUBLISH if it is a master page? You will need to publish this page with the other ...

Re: Should you have multiple Google Analytics snippets in Breakpoints?

Any thoughts? Does it matter whether you put it in <head> tags on WB, or, alternately, just using an "HTML Objects" on a Master Object that's then called to every page..? Same effect? etchbu - To the best of my knowledge: 1) It needs to go in the header. 2) You don't need (shouldn't) use a HTML obj...

Whell... thought I was some safe because I'm only using Facebook for contact with my family and friends, and some interest groups. No problem with me I never accept games quizzes etc. I shared with some friends in USA, think they are in the danger zone... :D Yes, I too don't engage in those and a l...

Re: Should you have multiple Google Analytics snippets in Breakpoints?

etchbu,

I don't see the need for BP specific google analytic code - google analytics will give you the devices used (AUDIENCE > Mobile > Overview) - I've always just used the same google analytics code snippet in the header record of each page I want Google to report on.

Re: Facebook sucks, but customer wants timeline feed. HOW?

Hi Smee, It may not be/solve your problem but one thing I found out is that if the Facebook page administrator changes the Settings > Age Restrictions from everyone to something else ..People over... then the FB embed will not work - I found that out with one of my many winery/vineyard sites - nearl...

Re: code on top of screen on 'Contact Us' success page

Hi Sprintfoot - I've fixed your website link - when you added the link (BB Code) you had:

Code: Select all

[url]sharpenbusiness.com[/url]
its needs to be:

Code: Select all

[url=http://www.sharpenbusinesses.com/index.php]sharpenbusiness.com[/url]

Adding Forum Member @Tagging

Hi Pablo, I believe this has been brought up at least once before, but thought I would raise it again. Many PHP forums use / Configure / allow @ tagging of members - used to alert someone when another member directs a question/comment at them. For example @ColinM becomes ColinM and a notification is...
