Re: Meta tags and keywords

Bluesman,

Thanks for the extra info. Will deffo want to check up on that. I will really want to get SEO sorted for my little site as it details the problems I have had with AliExpress and would rather make my own semiconductors than use them again.

Cheers

Re: Meta tags and keywords

I wonder if a fellow end-user can advise on the correct/approved way to enter the keywords in the page properties, meta tags section? When I have searched on how they should appear in HTML, there is always a space after the comma. It is not clear if *I* have to place the space in the WYSIWYG WB dial...

Re: Meta tags and keywords

Thanks for answering Pablo. Unfortunately, I am not sure exactly what you mean. Do I have to put spaces after the commas or not? "As-is" does not supply that information as it means just the words themselves and not any punctuation or spaces outside the words. I am honestly not trying to be difficul...

Meta tags and keywords

Hi, The help file says that keywords are separated by commas. No mention is made of any spacing. Doing a search of other sites, the HTML shows the keywords separated by commas, followed by a space. In WYSIWYG WB, does a space need to be inserted by the user or does it get added automatically if need...

Re: How about giving Pablo (and mods) a rest!!

As a mature adult, I am sure Pablo knows how to take any time off he needs. The only thing he needs to decide is if while he is off-duty, he needs somebody to step in. Don't forget, the "read only" idea was tried once before. As this topic has arisen I can only assume that it was a failure. Cheers DrT

Re: How about giving Pablo (and mods) a rest!!

I do not think that giving a definable time for when a response from Pablo should be expected. All that tends to happen is that he will get complaints about being late. I am sure Pablo has a life outside of WYSIWYG WB, and that can get in the way as life often does. he would then be under pressure t...

Re: How about giving Pablo (and mods) a rest!!

Hi BaconFries,

When I try to follow the link in your last post I get the attached. When the forum was put on read-only some time ago, why was that reversed?

Is there any other way I can view the post in question?

Hope you had a good weekend,

Cheers

Re: How about giving Pablo (and mods) a rest!!

I would disagree with making the forums read only. IIRC, I think this was tried out by Pablo himself some time ago. My reasons for disagreeing with this proposal are nothing to do with a lack of respect for Pablo or anybody else. First. Nobody is forcing anybody to sit at their computer any time the...

Re: Default style change

Hi WWBman, The reason I originally asked was that I had created a style, but found myself having to manually change the style in each text box. I have had WYSIWYG for a while, but only recently started using it in earnest. What is the best way to use styles to minimise time wasted in changing the ty...

Default style change

Hi, Please believe me when I say I have searched for what I am going to ask below using several different terms in this forum, in the manual and on the tutorial pages. I also opened the tutorials that I saw as relevant. I also search the help file. If I have missed the answer I apologise. The thing ...

Re: Novice's question

Hi Pablo,

Thank you. I had assumed that the heading styles were in some way "special" and could not or should not be changed like any other. That is how much of a novice I am.

Your excellent support to this noob is much appreciated.

Cheers

Re: Novice's question

Hi Pablo, Thank you very much for your reply. I have read the tutorial and do not see how it addresses my "problem". I should have explained what I am doing and what is happening first. I write some text and give it a "heading 1" style. That changes the font and size and puts "h1" tags around it. I ...

Novice's question

Hi,

I have applied the h1 style to a heading. They only appeared in the generated HTML after I saved the page. So that is my first beginnger's problem sorted :D .

I do not like the fonts that come with the H1 style. Is it possible to change the font and not lose the h1 tags?

Thanks

DrT
