Re: Time Flies

I've been a happy WWB customer since licensing V3.5.1 on the 26th of November 2006 which is 11 years, 1 month and 18 days. Long may it continue!

Re: Filename prefix still being assigned to published images

I understand this only applies to dynamically generated images for shapes etc. but I would like to be able to control the naming convention used. For example; If I set the ID of a Shape to 'index-panel-shape" the auto generated filename becomes index_index-panel-shape_bkgrnd.png'. If possible, I wou...

Re: Filename prefix still being assigned to published images

I understand however, I have already ensured all my background images have unique names across all pages so this auto-prefix is an unneccesary extra in this case. Could you please consider adding an option to switch off the automatic prefixing in a future update?

Re: Filename prefix still being assigned to published images

Sorry I should have said the images are Shape objects, with gradients, antialiased with 'Publish as CSS3' setting which are being published as 1 pixel wide PNG files.

Filename prefix still being assigned to published images

Hi Pablo, I have just noticed my published image files are still being published with a prefix 'pagename_' even though I thought my WWB settings would prevent this. My WWB (11.6.5) project settings are: WWB Options... Asset management... Let WWB manage images... checkbox is unset/clear. WWB Options....

Re: blog image local publish locations different for PNG and JPG

I just changed the file suffix from .jpeg to .jpg and the files are now correctly placed in the image folder when they are published.

I noticed that I could also set the target folder for .jpeg filetypes in the WWB Options... Publish & Preview settings.

My problem is solved sorry to bother you.

*** SOLVED *** local publish locations different for PNG and JPG

Hi Pablo, I am using the WWB blog object from the toolbox (in WWB 11.6.4 latest build) and the Style / Layout is set to 'circle'. I noticed the following discrepency in publishing behaviour for blog entry images: When blog entry PNG files are published locally they are placed in the image folder by ...

Re: Javascript cookie creation and re-use between WWB project pages

Thanks Pablo, I just got it going. I've been sitting in front of my screen for too long and neglected to upload cookies.js. No wonder it wasn't working! :)

All the Best,

David

Javascript cookie creation and re-use between WWB project pages

I am looking for a way to handle cookies with javascript between html pages in my WWB project and wondered how others here do this? For example, I've just been looking at the Mozilla Simple Document Cookie Framework https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/cookie/Simple_document.coo...

Please remove msftedit.dll from the program files folder.
This solution also works on Windows XP Professional SP3.

Re: Which Ecommerce Solution?

Thanks all for your comments.

@zinc - also thanks for your offer of advice. I may just take you up on it.

@[RZ] - I'm glad to hear you don't mind a bit of 'brain-pecking' because there may be some more questions to follow from me next week. :)

Re: Which Ecommerce Solution?

Hi zinc,

Your interjection is most welcome. :) I am currently communicating with RZ and his pre-sales support is certainly fast and helpful. I really like the idea of a WWB integrated cart system and it is good to hear of your positive experience with RZ's suite.

Cheers,

David

Re: Which Ecommerce Solution?

Hi Colin,

I am looking into the current WWB ecommerce options for an upcoming project and wondered how you got on with your project? Did your choice of cart work out well for you? I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Cheers,

David
